Privacy Policy

Ash Reserve is built around public evidence trails, but we do not need more personal data than the evidence-review process requires. This page explains what we collect today and what becomes public.

Information we collect

  • Evidence submissions: contributor handle, operator, Reserve Score dimension, narrative, source URLs, and optional screenshot or document links you provide.
  • Anti-abuse metadata: IP address and user-agent-derived hashes may be stored with submissions so moderators can spot spam or coordinated manipulation.
  • Contact emails: your email address and message content when you write to us.
  • Affiliate/outbound clicks: minimal click metadata may be logged when you use an outbound operator link, so commercial relationships can be audited separately from scoring.

What becomes public

Verified evidence can appear on operator audit pages and in the public score changelog. Public entries may include the contributor handle, evidence summary, source URL, submission date, verification status, moderator handle, and the score dimension affected. We avoid publishing private contact details unless you explicitly ask us to attribute them.

Rejected or retracted evidence may also be summarized when needed to explain a correction, but private identifiers and unnecessary personal data are not part of the public record.

How we use information

We use submitted information to verify evidence, prevent spam, maintain the score changelog, respond to corrections or operator inquiries, and keep affiliate relationships auditable. Affiliate status never changes a Reserve Score.

Retention and deletion

Verified evidence and score-change records are retained because the site depends on an auditable public history. If you need personal information removed from a submission or correction thread, contact corrections@ashreserve.com. We may keep a non-personal public note explaining the evidence status so the score history remains coherent.
